Since Tori got engaged, I knew there would be times when Patti would want to fly to Chicago and help plan the wedding. Little did I know it would be over Valentine’s Day weekend.
I could have pouted and cried and said no way! But I put on my “big boy” pants and went with it. Not that I really had a choice.
With that said, below is a chronicle of places I visited on Valentine’s day, all alone.
This was pretty cool with some of the circus items collected over the years. Next stop….
Not a huge aquarium but lots of Manatees and other sea life. Next stop….
Although I was all alone… On Valentine’s day… I wanted to still go to St. Armands Circle. There are a lot of stores and the restaurants are very unique and absolutely amazing! Next stop…..
Finally a place where I wasn’t judged being alone! The cats were awesome and accepted me as I was…. by myself….
It was worth it…..
Although Patti sacrificed Valentine’s day with me for Tori, it was absolutely worth it! It was a great time for them to be with each other and plan Tori’s special day and find the dress! According to Patti, she has done a tremendous job planning everything and staying within their budget. Even through the excitement of finding the dress, she negotiated a much better price and worked with Chris on the overage (only $200). We are very proud of her!
As you can see, everyone is very happy and that is all that matters. I can’t wait for the wedding and very excited for both of them!
What is even better, Patti is flying home today! I can’t wait because there is lots of laundry!!! I am out of socks!!!
