Bella Terra
During the winter we stay at our RV lot near the Gulf Shores AL, Bella Terra which we now call “our winter home”. Last year we had the concrete put in along with the stone wall and natural gas firepit.
This was nice but we wanted to spruce it up! So this year we put in some landscaping and it turned out great! Not only palm trees and flagstone golf cart pad and patio, but lighting throughout the lot and an irrigation system.
We love the look and got many compliments! We are very happy with it and love to sit outside in the sun and wave at people walking by. We even got Patti her own lounge chair in the patio.
We may do some more with the lot next year but we love how the landscaping makes the lot look inviting and bigger than most of the lots in Bella Terra.
Visitors!
One of our favorite couples were in town and came to visit! Melody & Bill Penish were traveling to Louisiana and stopped by for the day. They got to see the USS Dutchstar and tour our winter home! We took them to lunch and had a great time reminiscing about church and high school in Mishawaka IN! We were very happy they stopped by so if you find yourself in the Gulf Shores area, we would love to see you!
Orlando
We took some time in February to meet Chris, Tori and Forest for a week in Orlando. We rented an Air BNB townhome that had it’s own pool! Forest had a great time in the pool and the main pool for the facility. He made a lot of friends and it was fun finally seeing kids outside enjoying themselves!
Of course we went to Disney and had a great time. We took Forest on a lot of rides.
